Welcome to your Beautiful Life!

Jennifer E. Lima, MPH,

I am so happy to meet you!  I began my health and wellness journey in 2010 when I was diagnosed with Celiac and Hoshimoto's Thyroiditis.  It was a relief to finally have a diagnosis and a plan to relieve symptoms after years of feeling awful, but it was only the beginning of my path to wellness. I have struggled with my weight most of my life, plus anxiety, overwhelming stress and ADHD.  A lot of days felt like an uphill battle and there are days that still do, but now I have the tools to make each day count.  Wellness is not just sleep, drinking enough water, and exercise.  It is also finding joy in life even when things are hard, creating work/life balance and financial stability, and facing hidden issues you may not even be aware are affecting your daily life.

As a Coach, I am a real person, who can hold space for you on your journey of self discovery, healing, and finding your way to creating a beautiful, abundant life.  I will help you find the best path for reaching your goals, on your terms.  I will meet you where you are with no judgment or unsolicited opinions.

I completed the Institute for Integrative Nutrition Health Coach training program in 2018 and since completed additional coursework in Emotional Eating, Motivational Interviewing, and Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) for Substance Use Disorders.  I will be taking the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaches (NBHWC) exam in July 2024, but am certified through my IIN coursework to practice as a Health Coach.  I am also a novice Herbalist and in the process of obtaining both my Master Gardener Certification (October 2024) and Level 1 Herbalist Certificate (TBA 2025).  I am also looking into taking coursework on Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Reiki.  I have already taken several classes on herbal medicine and plan to sell some of my products at local events this year and conduct some in-person and virtual Classes in 2024.

You are welcome to click the link below for my LinkedIn page.  In short, I worked in Clinical Research for almost 30 years, 20 of those years on research studies to treat substance use disorders and train clinicians on various treatments and interventions.  I am also an experienced grant writer and volunteer.

I am the proud mama on one adult daughter, two cats and a Husky.
